Description
This course provides an introduction to capability, capturing and assessing the voice of the customer, understanding process tolerance versus specifications and determining process capability. Course topics include;

- Why process control is a must!
- Voice of the customer (VOC)
- Specifications versus “natural tolerances”
- Accuracy and precision
- The impact of variation on capability
- Shift and Drift – Long-term performance
- Continuous capability studies
- Discrete capability studies
